today work has been pretty hectic. the girl who makes breakfast called out & i had to help with that. the store manager asked me to make some changes to a display. he wanted to showcase the pies more. i baked about 3 dozen pies to get us started for the holiday weekend. hopefully we can keep up with demand, more importantly i hope there is a demand! we really need to increase our sales.

next weekend i am going to the mountains for roller derby. a close friend and i will stay at a hostel saturday night so that we are there on the cheap. i am real stoked becuase i haven't gotten a saturday off in MONTHS!

we close on our new house tomorrow morning & should have the keys by the end of the day. woo hoo! i will be a homeowner! we are planning to paint everything before we start moving in. we don't have to be out of our rental home until july 30th.
